Hello St. Peter’s Junior High Families:

On behalf of our Administration team and all staff, we welcome both new and returning families to the 2025-26 school year and we certainly hope you all had a fantastic summer with family and friends!

It’s hard to believe how fast the summer break has gone. We are all certainly excited to meet our returning and new SPJH students, and, to collaborate with our families and school community to make this year a successful school year together!

School opens for all students on Wednesday, September 3rd, 2025 and it will be a full day for all.  Our school doors open at 7:55 AM with Homeroom period at 8:12 AM. Students will be dismissed on that day at 2:10 PM.  

We ask that you please follow our traffic protocols as implemented by NL Schools Transportation. 

• With a large quantity of buses serving SPJH, the majority will be using the regular bus drop off/pick up area in the back of our school and the remainder will be dropping off/picking up students at the front entrance of the school.

• There is signage installed at the entrance area by the NL Schools Transportation Division indicating that, “There will be no parents allowed on the lot” until buses have been dismissed from the school.

• Please see the memo below for some important notes to ensure a smooth start to our school year. Please review the document carefully as it contains a great deal of information to get you all started successfully.
