SPJH: Chartwell's On-line Ordering

We are pleased to announce that the Provincial School Lunch Program service at SPJH will begin on Monday, September 21st and will continue to be provided by Chartwells Eats.

• This year, Chartwells Eats have launched the new provincial school lunch ordering system, which is now open to order for the first week of meals. Through this system, families will continue to use the pay-what-you-can method to order lunches. This allows you to choose a payment amount from $0 – $6.00 per meal; whatever amount is comfortable for your family. Every child can receive a nutritious meal regardless of the amount chosen and your payment selection is completely confidential.
  
  

• The ordering window for your school will open each Thursday morning and close on Wednesday at midnight for meals to begin the following Monday.
  
  

• Families must place all meal orders within the ordering window shown in the online system. These deadlines are necessary so food service providers can accurately order ingredients, prepare the required number of meals, and coordinate delivery to schools throughout the province.

Getting Started:

• The system is now open for ordering and parents/guardians can order for the first week of lunch service at www.schoolfoodnl.ca . If you had an account last year, you will need to register again as they have a new ordering system set up.

• • To get started, you will need to register/create a new account and link your child(ren) to their school and class. Go to www.schoolfoodnl.ca and click on register to register your account. Once your account has been set up, you can begin placing lunch orders. When creating your account, we strongly recommend selecting both email and text message notifications for ordering reminders. These reminders are intended to help families keep track of upcoming ordering deadlines.
