Chartwell's On-line Recess/Lunch Ordering (2025-2026)

Good Evening SPJH Parents/Guardians:

🍎 We are pleased to announce the return of a “Pay-What-You-Can School Lunch Program” for St. Peter’s Junior High School. Chartwells Eats will remain the school lunch provider at our school and will operate the new program that is designed to ensure every student has access to a nutritious, balanced lunch. 

🥗 NL Schools and the Department of Education received good feedback from families, students and staff during our pilot project last spring and have worked with Chartwells Eats throughout the summer to improve service. This year, you will notice some changes to the menu options and the ordering cycle has been reduced to one week, from two weeks last year. 

🍞 The program will start in our school on Tuesday, September 16th, 2025.  Until the program begins, families are asked to provide bagged lunches for their children. Chartwell’s apologizes for the inconvenience, but need some time to get the orders in and begin service. 

🥗 The first ordering window for the first Pay-What-You-Can Lunch Program has been extended! To allow more families to participate, you now have until end of day Sunday September 14, 2025, to order lunch (for next week lunches served between Tuesday September 16, 2025 through to and including Friday September 19, 2025).

🥕 The File below provides information on how to order your child’s meals. This is an online ordering system only for Recess and Lunch and families must order online in order for their child/children to purchase food. The On-line ordering system is open now.
